Passing through new town that we had never visited, we stopped at the local visitor center to find a coffee shop. They referred us to Rachel's. Their location is inside a bookstore but feels like its own location with plenty of seating. The service was friendly and quick. The coffee was full-bodied and the Marion berry and white chocolate chip scone was the best we have had in a while. I got my coffee for free when I bought a mug for my daughter (also named Rachel). If we ever pass through town again, we will definitely stop in again.

Wonderful little coffee shop in a shared space with Gold Books. Get their Pecan Sticky Bun, apparently they go very quickly in the morning. I lucked out and got the last one that morning and it was perfect. This seems to be a local meeting place of sorts. The morning I was in, a group of local senior citizens seemed to be having their daily morning meeting, talking about local news and what not. Free wifi, great chai, this is a great spot to hit up.

Stopped in as I was passing through town in the early morning hours. I was surprised to see this place open even though it's in a bookstore. I'm a coffee snob and I was skeptical about getting a great latte at this small town bookstore corner carve-out staffed by really young women. To my surprise and delight, they prepared my latte exactly to order (no foam, barely heat the milk to hot) AND the espresso itself was fantastic. BONUS.. I had my own cup so I paid the price for a small coffee for a medium. The seating space was large, clean and welcoming and as an added bonus, not a bad little bookstore. Great coffee, great space.. Definitely a great experience.

Coffee was excellent. We also had pumpkin bread and blackberry tarts. Rachel's is inside Gold Beach Books, a must stop and browse and buy opportunity. Go upstairs. It's amazing.

Excellent quality coffee, deserts, soups and service. I live in GB for about 6 mos out of the year and frequent this spot when I am in town. I have introduced this coffee shop to about a dozen visitors over the last couple of years and we are all thrilled with their offerings. The staff is exemplary and always very friendly even when they are busy. A wonderful atmosphere, vibe and FREE WiFi. The bookstore attached is wonderful too.

Free coffee refills, WiFi was free. Great stop and very good customer service, but get here early because they sell out on their baked goods.

Had the Mexican mocha. I was very impressed only 50 cents for and extra double shot of espresso. It is located in the corner of a book store. It's a little bit on the pricey side but it is good quality. If you're not one for espresso they have plain drip coffee as well. Also they have a pretty good fresh selection of pastries. If you have a sweet tooth I definitely recommend the chocolate chip scone it is amazing.

The coffee here is good quality and well made, it is not very sweet so if you like your coffee sweet, get extra syrup. It isn't cheap, but I think the prices are better than Starbucks. The pastries are really good, my favorites are the fruit scones, which change daily. Usually they have blackberry or peach. The cookies are also very good, my kids love them and my husband loves the pumpkin loaf. Their italian sodas are also great. The staff is friendly and efficient, but they aren't really into chitchat.

The iced americanos were yummy and well made and well priced. The two barista girls were nice, but not particularly interested in where we came from etc... We didn't like that the wifi wasn't free - at a coffee shop/bookstore??

Tasty NF white mocha! Priced good. Staff needs to be more outgoing and friendly. Especially to tourists.
